How To Set Up iCloud Drive On iPhone

Here's detailed instruction on how to set up iCloud Drive on iPhone. This is Apple's new option to work with documents and files on iOS devices and OS X. You can use this method if your device have been upgraded to iOS 8 and of course you have an iCloud account. Depending on your storage size subscriptions range can vary from free to $19.99 for a month. Let's start to set up iCloud Drive on your iPhone.

Before upgrading, note that it will change your file system to a new structure. Any devices that run unsupported versions of iOS and OS X will not let you to access anything saved in Drive.

How To Set Up iCloud Drive On iPhone Manually 

When initially you upgrade to iOS, you should be ask whether or not you'd like to upgrade to iCloud Drive. If you choose yes, you don't need to do anything as system will do it for herself and then you can continue to the next step.

Step 1: Please launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad that should run iOS 8 or higher version.

Step 2: Click on iCloud.

Step 3: Then click on Drive.

Step 4: Now turn on the option.

In case you have other iOS and OS X devices that aren't using iCloud Drive at current time then you will receive warning message.

Note that all of these devices must be updated for compatibility to work between all of them. So you need just to repeat this process on all of them.
