Download OS X 10.10.2 Beta 6 For Developers And Beta Testers

Those users who registered with the Mac Developer program can download OS X 10.10.2 beta 6. As Apple company has launched it. This sixth release comes exactly one week after the previous fifth OS X 10.10.2 beta with 14C106a build. And Apple company has once again emphasized that developers should focus their testing efforts on the annoying for long time issue of Wi-Fi connectivity, together with Mail and VoiceOver problems.

It’s a minor update feature-wise, but it should bring about several badly needed improvements to the above mentioned areas, and improve overall stability. OS X 10.10.2 was released to focus specially on resolving some ongoing issues that some users have experienced with OS X Yosemite and reported about them together with some bug fixes. It seems to us that OS X 10.10.2 will not include new features or other significant changes to OS X Yosemite. But it’s possible that the final release version may gain additions that are not shown in the beta releases.

Users who are involved and signed up to test pre-release OS X software can download OS X 10.10.2 beta 6 in the Mac App Store under the “Updates” tab. This new update occupies around 500MB and also requires a reboot. Please note that users should only test beta software on Macs that are well backed-up and not necessarily their primary computer. Analyzing fact of beta updates quicker pace indicates that OS X 10.10.2 could be launched to public very soon, as the previous fifth beta was pushed to developers and beta testers only a week back.
