Download OS X 10.10.2 Security Update Using Direct Links

Now it is possible to download OS X 10.10.2 security update, as Apple company has released it on Thursday. 

The company recently launched Safari on Mavericks and Mountain Lion betas and now this update, under the ‘Security Update 2015-003 1.0’title is available right via the Updates tab of the Mac App Store. Due to the fact that update improves the OS X security it is recommended for all users.

There is a separate update that was launched specifically for early-2015 MacBooks, including the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro with that Force Touch trackpad and the new MacBook Air lineup. Apple provides a standalone 5.2-megabyte download for them that you can find here.

Also if you’re running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 public beta, you won’t see this security update as the stable OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 release is bound to gain contents of today’s OS X 10.10.2 update.

Apple provides all details of Security updates for its products on its support webpage. Today’s release comes after ten days launch of Security Update 2015-002 for OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5, OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 systems.

That update has focused on a handful of vulnerabilities discovered in the Mac operating system, including the high profile SSL flaw known as “FREAK” that may let attackers to spy on communications.

Two days ago, the Apple company launched a Safari update that brought fixes for WebKit security flaws that were discovered on OS X Yosemite, Mountain Lion and Mavericks.
