OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Supplemental Update Fixes Issues and Problems

How can you fix OS X 10.10.3 problems? Apple presented its new Yosemite in early April. You can download 10.10.3 for Macs using direct links and see what changes it offers. This new operating system has its own problems which involve some kernel panics.

According to a number of users, they experience major issues with this latest OS. Mac customers complain about software quitting unexpectedly. This doesn’t happen always. It is mostly related to viewing large size JPEG images through Preview / Finder which causes the system to shutdown or quit. The crash doesn’t affect Photoshop users. It is only reportedly causing issues with native Apple applications.

Is there a way how to fix these OS X 10.10.3 issues? Some users say that problem is gone for a while after you completely reinstall Yosemite [by the way, you are advised to upgrade because of the OS X backdoor API flaw discovered by researchers]. However, such method doesn’t offer permanent fix. The problems are only gone for a short period of time. We should also note that the iPhone maker is aware of the bugs, and it has even released OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 supplemental update to its users that solves some of the bugs.

According to the company, its recent update can fix the problem with startup for video drivers. It is not clear if it fixes image preview issue. You can download the supplemental upgrade for OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 for free through the Mac App Store. It is fast to update and maybe the bug that causes system to restart or crash will be gone.

Apple is already working on the next version. It has seeded its first beta to developers, so we might see the 10.10.4 release soon.
