iPhone 7 Concept Design Integrates Touch ID into Display

Can Apple present a smartphone with the Touch ID and Home button being integrated right into the display? This is what the new iPhone 7 concept design offers. Designer Martin Hajek developed a new handset concept especially for the Computer Bild magazine in Germany. The idea is to make both Touch ID sensor and the Home button a part of the screen.

We doubt that the Cupertino-based giant is planning to offer iPhone 7 Touch ID integration into display because this is complicated and doesn’t offer the look and feel all iPhone customers are so used to. Of course, there are concepts that show Digital Crown as a part of the next smartphones, but it is unlikely that Apple makes this real.

The iPhone design hasn’t experienced dramatic changes from the moment the first original ‘fruit’ handset was released. Apple added some minor changes but the overall look only became more elegant with the Home button still being a Home button and Touch ID being integrated into it.

If you take a look at the screenshots of the new iPhone 7 concept you’ll see the future innovation that might be implemented or just stay a set of images that look unusual. Concepts are interesting and fun to look at because they show the broad imagination and great ideas expressed by professionals. Apple rarely follows the concepts when it comes to making the next product line but it also likes to bring some surprises and develop new solutions that impress and want customers to buy this particular device.

The images show a smartphone with two-sensor rear camera [Apple has patented this technology] and illuminated ‘apple’ on the back. This design does attract but not all users would love the edge-to-edge display. What do you think about the concept?
