iOS 8.4 Release Date and Time Are Known

Ian Rogers [Apple Music senior director] has shared the final iOS 8.4 release date with all Apple fans. According to him, this long-expected event should happen on June 30th. Will Apple truly unveil the new iOS 8.4 firmware version in the end of June?

As Rogers states, iOS 8.4 release time is 9-10 AM Pacific time, June 30. This will be as soon as this week and users who are running earlier version of the ‘fruit’ firmware might even not like to upgrade to the new iOS 8.4. Why?

There are numerous reasons why you might not want to install iOS 8.4 version as soon as it is released by the Cupertino-based giant. Firstly, there is no iOS 8.4 jailbreak at the moment. Secondly, there are no applications and games that support this version yet.

Besides, thanks to TaiG group of hackers from China it is now possible to untether jailbreak iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 and 8.3 and this is not surprising that users hurry to upgrade to iOS 8.3 public release and run TaiG tool to jailbreak it.

Tuesday morning should be a big event for developers who will start updating and creating programs and games for iOS 8.4 devices. Most users will probably stay with iOS 8.3 for now and jailbreak it while it is possible to do so.

It could also happen that TaiG team releases the untether iOS 8.4 jailbreak soon after this platform is launched. If Apple didn’t patch the exploits used in TaiG 2.1.2 and 2.1.3 it could be possible to see the untether tool upgrade even this week.

Would you rather wait for jailbreak before installing iOS 8.4 and run earlier firmware version for now or upgrade this week to the new release?
