As you know Night Shift allows you to stay up reading at night without turning on the light in the room. Low Power Mode adds almost full three more hours of battery life. The ability to enable both these features has been already annulled and only possible by asking Siri. But with iOS 9.3.1 firmware update release Apple has made it so that Siri would disable one of them before enabling another.

But we will show a little trick that would allow you to once again use Night Shift and Low Power mode simultaneously on your iOS 9.3.1 iPhone. Follow easy steps bellow to learn how to do it quickly and correctly.

How To Use Night Shift And Low Power Mode Simultaneously In iOS 9.3.1

Step 1. First, navigate to Settings > Battery to turn on Low Power Mode.

Step 2. Launch Siri and ask the assistant to switch on Night Shift feature. Siri should reply, "In order to turn on Night Shift, I’ll have to turn off Low Power Mode. Shall I continue?"

Step 3. Pick OK option– but before the response is confirmed, quickly push the sleep/wake button on your iOS device. The iPhone display now asleep and you should hear Siri's confirmation beep.

If you've done it correctly, you should see Low Power Mode and Night Shift enabled when you wake your iOS 9.3.1 iPhone or iPad. If not, try again above described steps.

Now you will notice that the Night Shift toggle in the Control Center menu and settings menu (Settings > Display and Brightness) will be greyed-out. But don't worry as the Night Shift mode will work just fine due to the color temperature of your device's screen.
