How To Disable System Haptic Feedback on iOS 10 iPhone 7

Reading this your will learn how to disable system haptic feedback on iOS 10 iPhone. As you may know starting with the iPhone 7, the improved Taptic Engine has the ability to provide haptic feedback when the user performs different system actions. Haptic feedback is a short vibration that your phone produces when performing a specific action. For instance, when you’re setting an alarm on your iPhone 7, spinning the timer dial will provide vibratory feedback.

This new feature is available only for such smartphones as iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. On prior iPhone models, vibratory feedback is limited to 3D Touch, Silent/Ring switch etc.

If you’re not a big fan of haptic feedback, then there is a way to turn it off in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Doing so will disable haptic feedback only for system actions such as the timer dial in Clock app, date dial in the Calendar app and so on. Unfortunately, it doesn’t get disabled for 3D Touch and Silent/Ring switch.

How To Turn off Haptic Feedback On iOS 10 iPhone

Step 1: In order to disable system haptic feedback on iOS 10 iPhone 7 launch the Settings app.

Step 2: Then go to Sound & Haptics.

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the interface and toggle off System Haptics.

After you’ve switched off System Haptics, your iPhone will no longer produce vibratory feedback for system actions and interactions. If you wish to turn it back on, follow steps above again by going to the Sound & Haptics section in Settings and toggle on System Haptics.

Again this feature is available only for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Remember you can only disable vibratory feedback for system actions and not for things like 3D Touch.

Haptic feedback is a nice feature that simulates physical feedback when performing various actions. Fortunately you can disable and re-enable if very easy.
