This new Camera Level tool feature is integrated into the Grid feature. So to use it you’ll need to enable it from Settings first. The feature allows you to figure out if your subject is perfectly leveled against the background. This will help you take symmetrical and perfectly centered photos. So follow easy steps below on how to enable and use Camera Level tool feature.

Step 1: On your iOS 11 device launch the Settings app from the Home screen.

Step 2: Then, scroll down and tap on Camera.


Step 3: From here, turn on the Grid option.


How To Use Camera Level Tool In iOS 11


Note: At present this feature works in Photo, Timelapse, Portrait and Square mode. and doesn't support Video and Paranoiac modes.

Step 1. Launch the Camera app on your iPhone.

Step 2. Check out the 9 box grid overlaid on the camera. You will also see a couple of crosshairs in the middle of the screen. They look like plus icon (+). Next, you need to move the camera to perfectly align these two plus icons.


Step 3. When the plus icons are right on top of each other, they become a bit bold and turn yellow. That suggests that the photo is parallel with the ground.


As soon as you find them turning yellow, hit the shutter button to snap the photo!
