Apple Releases iPhone 8 During September 2017 Event

Today during iPhone 8 release event Apple has introduced its brand new smartphones lineup. With a glass front and back, the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus sure look stunning. Apple has managed to redesign every aspect of the handsets while still retaining that familiar iPhone-like design with its latest handsets.

Apple's September 2017 iPhone Event is definitely big event especially for those people who were eagerly waiting for the new iPhone release. If you want to ogle at the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus from every angle possible, check out the official photos of the handsets in the photo gallery below.


The iPhone 8 is essentially the iPhone 7S, as it's more of an incremental upgrade from 2016's iPhone 7 – although there is a new glass design, improved display, updated camera and more power under the hood and more.


Here are the short list of iPhone 8 specs:

  • Similar look to the iPhone 7, with bezels and home button
  • 4.7-inch Retina HD display
  • Brand new A11 Bionic chipset
  • GPU provides 70% faster graphics over iPhone 7
  • 12MP rear-facing camera
  • 4K video at 60fps, 1080p slo-mo video at 240fps
  • Wireless charging support

During the Apple's September 2017 iPhone event the company also presented its another new smartphone called iPhone X. The handset features an OLED edge-to-edge to display and several other advanced features.

All the upcoming device will be equipped with the iOS 11. This software update brings a host of useful features and improvements. iOS 11 unifies lock screen and Notification Center, finally introduces a new Control Center, and brings major and minor redesigns for various stock apps. There’s an overarching design change in iOS 11 as well. Apple will release iOS 11 to public on September, 19.
