How To Adjust ‘Do Not Disturb While Driving’ Response In iOS 11

If you have already updated your device to iOS 11 then we'll show you how to customize ‘Do Not Disturb While Driving’ response. iOS 11 release has brought new feature known as ‘Do Not Disturb While Driving’. This Apple's new feature allows you to pay all your attention on the road while you're driving.

When activated, Do Not Disturb While Driving hides and silences all messages, phone calls, and notifications. In Settings, you can enable an option to send customizable automatic replies to Favorites, Recents, All Contacts, or No One. Each is pretty self explanatory. Recents applies to those who have you have been in touch with recently and appear in your "Recents" call list. Favourites is reserved for those who are listed in your phone Favourites list.

By default, the auto-reply is set to "I'm driving with Do Not Disturb While Driving turned on. I'll see your message when I arrive at my destination". If you're happy with it, leave it as it is. If you'd like it is possible to change it.

How To Customize ‘Do Not Disturb While Driving’ Response

Step1) On your iOS 11 device navigate to Settings.

Step 2) Select the Do Not Disturb tab.

Step 3) Scroll to the end of the list until you see Auto Reply. Hit it.

Step 4) Tap the message field and adjust the note to your liking.

Step 5) Once done, hit save the auto-message by selecting Do Not Disturb in the top left corner and going back to the superordinate tab.

If you use your iOS 11 iPhone for business purposes, then you could also consider filling the Auto Reply box with a business card like message similar to a signature supplementing your emails. While doing it, be sure to adjust the Auto Reply To box from Favorites to All Contacts.
